[Kid hesitates, and it's audible on the voice feed--a sharp breath in as he thinks.]

I imagine it's a bit of both. It's much worse now, but even before...it was difficult to read a large block of text. It made the dizziness much worse. [He coughs hard, and his head audibly thunks against the wall he's leaning against.] The dizzy spells have gotten worse overall, too.

You really shouldn't be traveling on your own in a state like that.

[There's little background noise in his own messages, aside from the faint crunch of boots over snow and the occasional, more audible breath of air.]

Are you by yourself? I hadn't heard anything about you meeting up with another group. [And he keeps his eyes and ears on the network fairly religiously.]

[Kid sounds remarkably amused for his comment, despite suggesting that an ex-reaper might be stalking his actions.]

Though you've heard correctly--I have not met up with anyone else.

I might be. Though I stalk a remarkable number of people if that's the case.

Thankfully you seem to be very good at it. From who would I get the local gossip?

I've had a lot of practice! [He sounds way, way too chipper in admitting that.] But you don't have to look far. People here are extremely chatty~

If you're anywhere near the residential area, I can spare a day or two in coming to collect you. I'm on my way to restock on rations at the moment.

[Kid tries to sound like a haughty teenager, but the act is ruined by the hacking cough.]

Collect me? You think I'm unable to manage alone?
